ISA Certified Arborist Richmond VA | Brian Greene

Who Is Brian Greene?

Brian Greene is more than just a tree cutter; he is a custodian of Richmond’s urban canopy. As the owner of Cambium Tree Service, Brian brings a rare combination of generational knowledge and academic rigor to every project.

A 3rd generation arborist, Brian grew up in the industry, learning the practical nuances of tree mechanics long before he entered a classroom. He formalized this lifelong education with a degree in Arboriculture, bridging the gap between "old school" intuition and modern plant health science.

Since founding Cambium Tree Service, Brian has distinguished himself from the "guys with a truck" and national franchises by focusing on a preservation-first philosophy. While many services default to removal, Brian’s dual certification as a Horticulturalist (2005) and ISA Certified Arborist (1997) allows him to diagnose root-level issues and offer life-saving treatments like deep-root fertilization and soil de-compaction.

When removal is necessary, Brian operates with surgical precision. He specializes in "Zero-Impact Tree Removal," utilizing crane-assisted techniques and advanced rigging to lift heavy timber over structures without disturbing the surrounding landscape.
